What is Black History Month Canada?

Black History Month is observed across Canada every February. Black History Month in Canada provides an opportunity to share and learn about the experiences, contributions and achievements of peoples of African ancestry. Many of your children’s teachers will be discussing various themes and topics related to Black History Month. I encourage you to ask your child(ren) about these discussions throughout the month.
