About the Daycare

The Gerald McShane BASE Daycare Program is a day supervision service, organized outside class hours for preschool and elementary school children.

The main objective of our qualified team of educators is to guide the children through educational experiences conductive to the social, emotional and physical growth of each child. Our daycare offers a caring, safe learning environment that promotes respect.

Our daily programs balance play and learning with age-appropriate activities designed to spark curiosity and build important developmental skills. From group games to quiet learning time, each day is filled with enriching experiences.

Homework Support

We understand the needs of school-age children and working families. That’s why we offer a dedicated homework support period, providing guidance and encouragement to help children complete assignments and stay organized.

Supporting Working Parents

We proudly offer morning and afternoon daycare services to accommodate busy family schedules. Our flexible programs ensure children receive consistent care, supervision, and enrichment throughout the day.

Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs)

Our ECAs are after school to all students. They are organized by our Community Development Agent, Paolo Camirand. The activities run from 2:45 to about 3:45, depending on the organizer. Students are picked up by their parents/guardians after the activities at the daycare. Families who need daycare services after the activities end may choose to do so. Daycare fees apply.
